Most of the rest of the skeleton was collected, and other bones seem unharmed, apart from a small fracture to the rear of the skull and some broken ribs. Blanca the cat went missing, and eventually her remains were found beside the railway track.
Subjectively viewed, the bones confirm the suspicion that being run over by a train is only qualitatively different from being run over by a car. Instead of the widespread messy fracturing found in roadkill, the iron wheels are more precise.
